1/1 V1 - technical notes

equipment:

over the shelf disposable cameras. they are equally shit it seems so the brand does not matter

in this dark light the ones with flash worked better. the panoramic ones make nice big double sized negatives. The black & white disposables actually use colour film and always resulted in hued prints

for a while i used a pink filter handheld and another time a blue one

results are near always kak and it worked out quite expensive in the end, i used about 20 cameras for v1 of 1/1

and i shook the cameras violently to enhance the blur

photoshopping:

its not in the definition of this project that effort be spend on touching prints up, they are straight from the machines

to correct the scans, i nudged brightness and contrast in some

and generally chopped off the edges of the colour levels - i (falsely?) believe this makes for smaller jpgs

light emitting imagery like you are looking at now, always look better. The prints are not in the same league

this is how it went:

postcards
panoramas
it worked like this
